Will Tom Hardy be in the leading role of Blade Runner sequel?

From NBCChicago:
We try not to get all worked up about sequels, prequels, remakes and reboots - we really do. They've been a part of the movie landscape since forever and they ain't going away. But making prequels and sequels for a film as iconic and awesome as "Blade Runner" is simply uncalled for.
Nonetheless, Broderick Johnson and Andrew Kosove of Alcon Entertainment, the folks who brought you "The Blind Side" and "Book of Eli," are in talks with Bud Yorkin, producer of the original, to buy the all-inclusive rights - except for a remake - to "Blade Runner."
“We are honored and excited to be in business with Bud Yorkin," read a joint statement from Johnson and Kosove. "This is a major acquisition for our company, and a personal favorite film for both of us. We recognize the responsibility we have to do justice to the memory of the original with any prequel or sequel we produce. We have long-term goals for the franchise, and are exploring multi-platform concepts, not just limiting ourselves to one medium only.”
They can get Tom Hardy to play Deckard, Marion Cotillard for Rachel, if they wait a few years Chloe Grace Moretz can play Pris, Sam Worthington can play Roy Batty, Matt Damon as Gaff, Michale Chiklis as Bryant... It's gonna be great!

Will Tom Hardy Play Hugo Strange In Dark Knight Rises?

From 411Mania.com:
Is the rumor true?
Batman-on-Film says that the rumor Tom Hardy will play Professor Hugo Strange in the upcoming Dark Knight Rises are false.
In fact, they're wondering if Strange will be in the movie at all - they believe all of the Strange rumors come from the character being the main villain in the new Batman: Arkham Asylum game.
The rumor was that Dark Knight Rises would draw its plot from the Legends of The Dark Knight comic story arc "Prey", which features Batman battling "Hugo Strange, a psychiatrist appointed by the mayor to the GCPD task force dedicated to taking down Batman - led by Jim Gordon. Strange, an oddball himself, becomes obsessed with Batman, and hypnotizes Max Cort, a brutish detective on the task force, into becoming a masked vigilante himself."
No plot details have been officially confirmed by Christopher Nolan.

Shia LaBeouf to swim in lake Tommy Hardy

One more article about the rumors of Tom in a movie with Shia LaBeouf from LA Times Blog:
The hot young acting pair will team up to make “The Wettest County in the World,” a Prohibition-era dramatic thriller from director John Hillcoat (“The Road”), according to two people familiar with the film.
LaBeouf, who had previously been mentioned in conjunction with the project, and Hardy, who hadn’t, will both be taking a turn to period pieces. LaBeouf did star in the golf movie “The Greatest Game in the World” but is of course best known for action movies and thrillers.
Hardy, meanwhile, was in adaptations such as “Wuthering Heights” and “Black Hawk Down” but is best known for his role as the agent Eames in “Inception” this summer, and he has an as yet unrevealed part in “The Dark Knight Rises.” (He’s also currently shooting the Reese Witherspoon romantic comedy “This Means War.”)Nick Cave wrote the screenplay for “County” (speaking of teen pinups, albeit from another era). The film is based on a novel from Matt Bondurant about a family of Prohibition-era bootleggers, and crimes committed by and against them. The movie, an independently financed project that’s being produced by the producers of “Jarhead” and “Girl, Interrupted,” aims to begin shooting in the spring.
The firming up of LaBeouf and Hardy for “County” does put a pin, at least for the moment, in “College Republicans,” in which LaBeouf was to play a young Lee Atwater and, sources say, Paul Dano a young Karl Rove, in the “Social Network”-esque story about the two conservative kingmakers in college.
That would have been juicy. But to see LaBeouf and Hardy as bootleggers may be worth the wait.
Thanks ShiaLaBeoufDaily

Shia LaBeouf And Tom Hardy Back In For John Hillcoat's Prohibition Drama

From CinemaBland:
At the very end of 2009 The Road director John Hillcoat sounded more than a little depressed when he was forced to announce that his follow-up project, the Prohibition-era family drama The Wettest County in the World, had fallen apart when the financiers backed out. He took it as yet another death knell for the independent film industry, and at the time didn't seem to have much faith that the project could get back on its feet.
Now almost an entire year later, the movie seems to be back in action again, with Shia LaBeouf and Tom Hardy now considered for the lead roles. According to The LA Times the film is back in action with the screenplay from Nick Cave that Hillcoat was working from previously, based on Matt Bondurant's historical novel about a family of criminal and bootleggers operating out of Virginia. Last year, when the project seemed close to getting made the first time, LaBeouf was on board to star with Ryan Gosling and Michale Shannon as his bootlegging brothers and Amy Adams in an unspecified female role. It's no surprise to see that Shannon has bailed-- his role on Boardwalk Empire is probably enough Prohibition for him for now-- but it seems possible that Gosling could come back, especially if the role Hardy is taking is the one originally meant for Shannon.
They're aiming now to start shooting in the spring, and it's not clear how that might conflict with Hardy's existing commitment to Christopher Nolan's The Dark Knight Rises (and I can't imagine he'd bail on that for this film, no matter how promising it is). I'll be thrilled if they can keep Hardy, but if this movie has the kind of sturdy roles it seems to, plenty of other actors will be anxious to get on board as well.

Batman-News posted an article with more rumors about Tom and 'The Dark Knight Rises'. Read it below.
Ever since the news broke that Tom Hardy had been cast in The Dark Knight Rises people have wondered what role he would play. Fans across the internet have come up with a lot of ideas, from a Gotham cop, to the main villain. The following information is a rumor, and should be treated as such.
I’ve heard that Tom Hardy is in fact going to play the villain. My source strongly believes that Hardy is going to be playing Hugo Strange. This is the first bit of information from this person that I’m publishing, however they have been accurate in the past. For example, this person told me weeks before the recent Christopher Nolan interview that The Riddler would not be appearing in the film. They also mentioned that Rachel Weisz and Anne Hathaway were in the running for the lead female role a couple of weeks before Deadline posted their list. Given their track record so far, I wanted to post this Hardy news that I received via email. Again, this should just be taken as rumor. I’m posting this for the sake of discussion since we’ve hit a dry spell with The Dark Knight Rises news. What do you guys think? Would you like to see Hugo Strange as the villain?

Tom Hardy Offered Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter

Another article, now from MovieWeb:
Bloody-Disgusting has learned that busy young actor Tom Hardy has been offered a role in Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter.
In the Seth Grahame-Smith novel, Abraham Lincoln learns that his mother didn't really die of "milk sickness" but rather at the hands of an evil vampire who was collecting a debt.
Tom Hardy could play Henry Sturgess, a vampire who saves Lincoln and then becomes his mentor, teaching him the true nature of good and evil vampires. Sturgess trains Lincoln in the art of combat and teaches him how to track down and hunt evil vampires.
It isn't said if Tom Hardy has accepted the role or not. Timur Bekmambetov will direct the movie from an adapted script by Seth Grahame-Smith.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter comes to theaters June 22nd, 2012. The film is directed by Timur Bekmambetov.

From AccidentalSexness:
It seems like only yesterday that dreamy hunk Tom Hardy was attempting to extract DNA from Captain John Luc Picard as the nasty temptered Shinzon in 2002′s Star Trek: Nemesis. Now he has a hit movie under his belt with Inception and he is what we like to call a hot property. He has two movies currently in production (This Means War and Warrior…I’m sensing a theme) and is rumored to be playing The Riddler in the next Batman reboot.
Now it has been reported that Tom has been offered the role of vampire Henry Sturgess in the film version of Seth Grahame-Smith’s novel Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter. The film is being produced by Tim Burton and directed by Timur Bekmambetov, who directed my favorite movie of 2008 Wanted with Angelina Jolie. Burton’s involvement most likely means that Johnny Depp might end up playing Abraham Lincoln which means I will be forced to leap from the nearest window to my death. I’d like to see Liam Neeson in the role but I don’t get the make the rules…yet.

Johnny Depp will replace Tom Hardy in 'Snow White'?

From TheWrap:
Thank you tomhardyspinky by telling us.
EXCLUSIVE
Producer Joe Roth is looking to re-team with his "Alice in Wonderland" star Johnny Depp. The Oscar-nominated actor has been offered the male lead in Universal's upcoming tentpole "Snow White and the Huntsman," an individual familiar with the project has told TheWrap.
When pressed for comment, Depp's representation at UTA referred TheWrap to Universal, which refused to comment on casting rumors/offers.
The revisionist take on the classic fairy tale marks the feature directorial debut of acclaimed British commercials director Rupert Sanders, who will be working from a buzzworthy spec script by Evan Daugherty that was the subject of an intense Hollywood bidding war before Universal snapped it up for $1.5 million against more than $3 million.

ObsessedWithFilm brought us more informations about 'Snow White and The Huntsman'. Tom is rumored to play the Huntsman.
If it wasn’t for the Australian rain, ‘Hollywood’s most wanted’ Tom Hardy and South African beauty Charlize Theron would have been shooting Warner Bros. delayed Mad Max: Fury Road right now. However, still eager to go toe-to-toe with each other, the pair are circling a fast-tracked tentpole at a rival studio.
Universal are pushing forward with Snow White and the Huntsmen, a re-imagining of the Brothers Grimm fable that screenwriter Evan Daugherty (‘Grayskull’) sold to the studio this year in a $1.5 million over $3 million deal. They want Theron and Hardy to star.

So, we know that Angelina won't be Ravenna anymore, but... Are you guys exited to see Tom in 'Snow White"?
Inception break-out star Tom Hardy is close to signing up for Universal’s Snow White and the Huntsman.
The 33-year-old English actor would take on the lead male role of the Huntsman while the studio reportedly wants Angelina Jolie to play evil queen Ravenna.
Tom has been busy in Vancouver shooting This Means War with Chris Pine, Reese Witherspoon, and Chelsea Handler. Next year, he will also be busy shooting Christopher Nolan’s third Batman pic.

Charlize Theron To Join Tom Hardy In ‘Snow White And The Huntsman’?

From indieWIRE:
Just a couple of days after we learned Tom Hardy was circling “Snow White And The Huntsman,” a bit more potential casting news is trickling forth. While Angelina Jolie was also being courted to join the film, which looks to start shooting in early ‘11 under neophyte director Rupert Sanders, it seemed more like a longshot studio wish given that the actress is right in the midst of shooting her directorial debut and would most likely be in post-production at that time.
So who better to join Hardy than his intended “Mad Max” co-star Charlize Theron? Word is now building that the actress, with the same gap in her schedule caused by that picture’s postponement, might be joining him in the role previously slotted for Jolie.
Theron would play Ravenna, the evil queen who sends a bounty hunter (Hardy) out to retrieve the escaped Snow White. Theron, who has done her fair share of mopey dramatic roles, would get to wear a ridiculous getup and cackle a bit, a welcome change of pace from the Oscar winner’s usual palette. We do hope she saved some of those “Monster” prosthetics. If the project takes shape, it will have to utilize the couple of months in between Hardy’s role in “This Means War” and “The Dark Knight Rises,” while Theron is currently filming “Young Adult” for director Jason Reitman, and her calendar seems a bit more open headed into new year.

'Total Recall' Reboot: Colin Farrell, Tom Hardy And Michael Fassbender Eyed For Lead Role

Take a look @ MTV's note:
What do you guys think about it? Excited?
Ladies and gentlemen, suck in your bellies and try not to breathe in for a little while — we're going back to Mars, and Arnold Schwarzenegger is nowhere in sight.
According to Heat Vision, director Len Wiseman's "Total Recall" reboot is set to go before cameras in late March of next year with Neal Moritz and Original Film producing from a script written by Kurt Wimmer. But there's more to the story than a production start: according to the report, the three front runners to replace Schwarzenegger are Colin Farrell, Tom Hardy and Michael Fassbender.
Farrell is considered the front runner, and it's not hard to understand why. Having just finished filming "Fright Night" and "Horrible Bosses," Farrell's schedule is considerably less packed than both Hardy and Fassbender's.
Hardy is currently shooting "This Means War" opposite Chris Pine and Reese Witherspoon, and he plans to follow that project with a lead role in Christopher Nolan's "Batman 3." Fassbender, meanwhile, is dabbling in comic book fare himself, replacing Ian McKellen in the role of Magneto for director Matthew Vaughn's "X-Men: First Class," currently in production in England.

Tom Hardy to be in 'Batman 3'? Who will he play?

Just another article from EW about the rumor of Tom being part of Batman 3. Who do you think he should play?
[...] Now Tom Hardy, who was the breakout supporting star of Inception as the dream-team’s “forger,” has been added to Nolan’s relatively stable stable. Deadline reports that Hardy is set to get a lead role in the upcoming Batman sequel. It’s unclear what the part will be, although based on the virtuosic crazy he demonstrated in Bronson, I’m hoping it’ll be a villainous one. In fact, it’s actually a pretty strong possibility that he’ll end up playing a certain green-suited cryptic criminal instead of Gordon-Levitt, although others have speculated that he might be good as the Killer Croc. I’ll wager that if Nolan has expressed in the past that the Penguin is too far-fetched a baddie for his Gotham, him including a green-scaled crocodile-man in the next sequel is an unlikely bet. Mr. Freeze is also probably out, if only because Schwarzenegger’s terrible puns left so many people cold (sorry!), as well as the possibility of he being Heath Ledger’s replacement as the Joker, since Nolan has said he won’t do that. Personally, if he’s not the Riddler, I could see him as Black Mask or Hush, if only to have a villain that was created in the decades since the days of Cesar Romero and Frank Gorshin.

Maybe it's just gossip, but we never know...
EXCLUSIVE: While Tom Hardy's plan to play Mad Max in the George Miller-directed Mad Max: Fury Road has hit another delay, the fast-rising Hardy's in the mix for another big film at Warner Bros. I'm told that Hardy has been set by his Inception director Chris Nolan for a lead role in the next Batman film at Warner Bros. Insiders are keeping the role secret and won't even say if he's up for a villain role, but that seems a reasonable assumption. Hardy has followed up Inception with lead roles in the Tomas Alfredson-directed adaptation of the John Le Carre novel Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy, and he's currently starring with Chris Pine and Reese Witherspoon in the McG-directed Fox comedy This Means War. CAA reps Hardy, who's expected to return to Fury Road when it goes.
